Driving Question
Is it possible to make our community more globally aware by putting together a photography exhibit involving photos from Brookwood, Uganda, and The Urban Assembly School for Wildlife Conservation in The Bronx?

Mission Statement
We feel that that a lot of members in the Brookwood community are not culturally aware. Our GAP is to raise awareness about cultural differences throughout the world. We want to show the differences in our everyday lives represented by photographs. We hope to accomplish a photo exhibit where we set up photos we have taken within the Brookwood community and compare them to photos students from the Kiko School, part of the Kasiisi Project in Uganda.
Local Project
We will be setting up the photography project similar to one last year in which we will be showing photos we have taken and the ones our partner school has taken. The photos will then be left up for about 2-3 weeks for all of Brookwood to see. These photos will be across from the faculty room in the lobby, and will be put up May 26, 2015.
It is our hope that following our local project, the Brookwood Community will think differently about different cultures around the world and our place in it because they will have a chance to see and compare different cultures to our own community through a visual sense (photographs).
A few weeks ago, we got the chance to Skype with some boys from the Kiko School in Uganda. We talked about the photos we received from them, and also the photos they received from us. Here is the Skype conversation, and some photos taken during it.
