Driving Question:
Is it possible to use FAWE's Solar Lantern Project as an inspiration to start a solar panel movement that will change Brookwood's energy situation?
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to spread awareness of alternative energy. We want to produce a message that can convince the board that Brookwood is optimal for green energy (especially solar energy) and could make this school cleaner and more environmentally friendly.
Local Project:
We aim to educate our classmates and the Board of Trustees at Brookwood about the importance of alternative energy. We will be teaching our classmates about the benefits of and science behind solar power and wind power and we will also learn from other schools about how they are sustainable.

Global Project
FAWE has a very clever “Solar Lantern” project and we want to adopt some of these methods and fit them for Brookwood. The Solar lantern project is essentially our inspiration. We saw these kids making a difference in their community Solar panels at Brookwood is just another way to make this place be more green. We want to collaborate with FAWE and exchange ideas. This can and will change Brookwood for the better.
